You will be required to verify your email during the new user account registration process.
Email verification is essential for KATANA and our response center to provide crucial updates regarding the app, your devices, your alarms, and any updates or changes to our services.
During the account creation part of the activation process, you will be prompted to provide your work email. After you will be sent a confirmation code to that email. If after a few minutes you don't see the code in your inbox, attempt the following troubleshooting measures.
1. Check the spam folder of your inbox. Verification emails shouldn't get blocked but it's always a possibility. The email should look like the one pictured below.
2. Check that the email you registered with matches the inbox you are checking. To double-check what email you submitted, return to the email verification screen in the KATANA Safety app.
3. If the email is correct, attempt to resend the email by pressing "Didn't get email? Send it again".
4. If the issue persists, contact your organization's KATANA administrator.
